PROJECT

It has been a long term goal to improve the usability, safety, and shade of our playground related amenities. The community surveys over the years have always included feedback from members wanting this as well as the master plan. It has been on both committee members and board members minds, but POA funds can only be stretched so far. We would like to do the leg work to research our best options, get bids, make a plan, and approach the board with that plan to allow members to donate toward this cause.

WEST BEACH

Top priority for the West Beach Playground is to facilitate in the community feel and facilitate the kids better for big events and everything in between. Things on the list of goals to consider here are a better location for the swings, visible from the lodge patio and pavilion, bigger fenced play space, more golf cart parking, and SHADE.

EAST BEACH

Top priority for the East Beach playground is to provide a unique play space (different from the West Beach) for more intimate groups that might also be utilizing the pavilion close by. Things on the list of goals to consider are proximity to the pavilion, more complete playground, and SHADE.

AUXILLARY LOCATION

If we receive enough support we would love to choose one or two auxiliary locations to make small improvements with children in mind as well. This would spread out some fun and varied activities around our community.
